Bus Uk - Passenger Transport Training

This website is one of two used by me, Steve Williams, to promote the advisory and training services I provide to operators of passenger transport and goods vehicles that are based in East Anglia and the East Midlands.  I have been involved in the provision of compliance advice for the last fifteen years and before that I operated my own commercial vehicles.  I class myself as a specialist compliance adviser who is focussed on providing a good quality of service at a reasonable price.

Bus UK  is the passenger transport driver training identity of Truck UK, the trading name that I use to provide compliance advice to goods vehicle operators. Bus UK has been specifically created to promote Driver CPC Periodic Training to bus and coach operators.

The Driver CPC has been in place since 10th September 2008 and I am now presenting classroom based modules of periodic training on behalf of several well known and respected passenger transport companies and a local Council.

I am approved as a training centre (No: ACO 184) for periodic training and I have had a 7 hour module (No: CRS0466/184) of periodic training approved by the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT) and it is available for presentation at any time - further information is available by visiting this page of the website

Since Wednesday 10th September 2008 all professional bus and coach drivers, both full and part time, need to commit to undertaking 7 hours of accredited training every year (35 hours every 5 years) for the rest of their professional driving career.

To learn more about the new mandatory training requirement I have provided additional news and information on the various pages of this website.

I can provide a bespoke package of periodic training - 7 hours worth of syllabus based teaching materials; driver workbooks; powerpoint presentation; trainer notes; attendance certificates; assessment forms - ready to be put forward for approval to the DSA Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training and I can then either show your own instructor or existing training provider how to competently present the training to your drivers, or I can carry out the training on your behalf at a place and time to suit your schedules. The choice is all yours and the price is always realistic.

If any of the above is of interest to you please contact me and I can provide you with further information and likely cost - without any obligation to take your initial enquiry any further, guaranteed.

Other services from Bus UK / Truck UK

Although Bus UK is committed solely to the provision of Driver CPC Periodic Training to the passenger transport sector, I can provide all types of transport related advice and information regarding digital and analogue tachographs; maintenance and inspection contracts, as well as walkround checks and defect reporting, including how to introduce procedures and best practices to suit your own operation that will be acceptable to VOSA and ultimately the Traffic Commissioner.

Why not add all three of my website addresses to your internet favourites and regularly check out the goods vehicle website: www.truckuk.net and the tachomaster analysis website: www.truckuk-tachomaster.co.uk to find out what is new and of interest to you and everyone who operates road going commercial vehicles of any type, size or description.

Don't forget, if you think that we may be able to work together why not check out the rest of the site and then contact me by e-mail at steve.williams@busuk.net for further no obligation information.
