Passenger Transport Vehicle OperatorsIf you operate buses and/or coaches you must be aware of the implementation of the requirements of the EU Training Directive - The Driver CPC. Existing drivers So, all your existing drivers who held a category D on their driving licence before 10th September 2008, whether they be full or part time / operating coach tours; school runs; scheduled services or anything else, will need to have undertaken 35 hours of JAUPT approved periodic training by 9th September 2013. If they don't you will no longer be legally allowed to use them to drive your vehicles. If you do you could be fined and your operators licence will be at risk.
